| Deison Preve is currently enrolled as Postdoctoral Researcher at the Engineering Department of the University of Udine. He defended his Ph.D. thesis in Computer Science and Systems Engineering at IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca in December 2022, for the research unit MUSAM. He spent a period as visiting student at the Additive Manufacturing Faculty in the University of Nottingham, UK, in 2021. He completed his B.Sc. in Mathematics (2012) at UDESC – University of the State of Santa Catarina (Brazil) and M.Sc. at UNICAMP – University of Campinas (Brazil). Deison’s research background mainly focuses on biomathematics, isoperimetric problems attached to wetting problems, evaluation of damage in periodic minimal surface lattices, fracture mechanics and numerical phase field modelling to fracture. |
